YUM. it looks good. Although I was not able to taste my pie, I do think that the crust had no flavor either since my friend had left a piece of it in his plate while he was tasting it.
Mm, your filling sounds yum! Too bad the pie crust was a bit bland (I agree, it definitely needed something). At least they got to enjoy the inside!
Turtle Pie - yummy! I haven't decided if I'm going to make the piecrust or sit out this week based on the lackluster reviews. But your filling sounds awesome!
Okay, let's try this again. I wish these had edit :).
My crust was blah, too but I thought it was me. Interesting to see others felt the same way.
Love your turtle filling and oreo crust would rock!
I hear Americans talking about chocolate turtles all the time but I have no idea what they are... haha!
I know what you mean about the crust, so bland.

Yum! Turtle pie. This looks really good.
This pie sounds delicious Michelle! Glad you enjoyed the filling. I'm with you on the crust though - very bland - and mine was difficult to work with too.
This looks so RICH! I've never made a chocolate pie crust. Maybe a graham cracker crust might work. does it taste like Turtle chocolates?
I love the pie. I make the Oreo crust with another cream filled cookie and it is always rich enough. I love that you filled it with caramel - a favorite of mine.
pecans, caramel, chocolate what more could one want?
Cant believe this crust was a disappointment to so many of us. But all of our fillings are luscious! I love yours!
Bland chocolate pie crust? That's terrible! I certainly won't waste my time on that.
The rest of the pie looks great, no doubt about it.
yeah, i wasn't a huge fan of the crust either. oreos are so much better, and easier! :) the turtle filling looks great though!
