My daughter running at the City track meet. We leave today for Boise, for the state track meet. She qualified in the 100 meter yard dash, the 400x100 relay and the Medley relay! Way to go Kryshawna!!
This is part of her relay team minus one girl who missed the picture. The girl on the left will not be running in state. She was in a pre prom accident last week. Three girls were hit by shrapnel . A group of teens were target shooting when a boy accidentally fired the gun in to a group of girls. Three of them were hit. Marlee was hit in her feet. She had to have surgery that day to remove shrapnel and pin some toes back on. All the girls are home from the hospital now, resting.
This has been a reminder to me and everyone else how precious life is. We will miss Marlee at State and on the relay team.
The girl are making socks to wear while they run, in her honor.

Congratulations to your daughter.
My son tried out track this season, not sure if he will keep it up. He's in 6th grade and even though he is slower than some of the other kids, he finished and offered to run in the 100.
I'm glad to hear she's okay. Good luck at State!
Way to Kryshawna! Like mom and dad! Sorry to hear about the accident with the kids, how scary. I'm glad your daughter wasn't a part of it. Keep us posted!
Life is precious. I hope she heals quickly, tell your daughter good luck!
